Last night I got a touch of Fall Fever. The decorating bug took over as I climbed in the attic and pulled down those orange and black boxes labeled fall decor and went to town on my house. I laughed, I danced, I sang, I was in the zone-the decorating zone. So much fun I had to share.
Always wondered how the florists make their arrangements look so perfect? Well, I have a few tips for you today that will turn your ordinary store-bought orchids into floral masterpieces in just a few easy steps. So, let’s get to it:
1. First, select your orchids, I usually pick mine up during my weekly shopping visit to Trader Joes, they are inexpensive and great quality. I choose three orchids this trip, all small in size, I like to arrange flowers in odd numbers as it gives a balance to the arrangement.

Their mission is to offer upcycled alternatives to traditional home decor - we definitely think they accomplished their mission! Check out this Adirondack Chair made of upcycled wine barrels. It makes us want to kick back and sip some wine, how about you?
Who doesn’t love a glow in the dark party? I think this is such a fun idea for a graduation party. It is great for all age groups and adds a bit of playful excitement to your graduation festivities. From party favors to getting your guests to interact, here are a few crafty ideas to get your party started.
1. PARTY FAVORS- You are headed for a bright future! Pick up a light bulb container at a local crafts store, Michael’s is my favorite. Fill up the light bulb with some neon skittles or M&M’s, any neon candy will do. Make a fun sign with neon ink and attach to the light bulb with baker’s twine. A festive and easy party favor for your graduation party.
We are in the season of Graduation, it does not matter if it is college, high school or even preschool, it is always a special time to celebrate the achievements of hardworking individuals. This year I have two graduates, my daughter from junior high and my son from preschool. I am getting very familiar with graduation parties as last year my oldest son graduated from high school and my other daughter from junior high. So, I thought I’d share a few ideas to help make your graduation festivities a little more memorable.

Today is one of my favorite days of the year, I am such a sucker for "love." I am totally in love with love (my friends who know me, don't laugh out loud). I have always been the girl that draws the little heart by my name. It's my gig and I LOVE it! So, with that said, how about sprucing up your outdoor space with a little valentine love? I've got the perfect thing, a purple heart! It's totally me, but I'm thinkin' you might like it too.
